In March 2022 we advised that planning permission had now been granted for both the highways and housing applications for the development of Salden Chase on land adjacent to the parish.

West Bletchley Council had, in response, agreed to try and minimise the adverse development of Salden Chase on West Bletchley and has now written to the Secretaries of State for both Transport and Levelling Up, Housing and Communities seeking to secure funding for a Southern Bypass.

The MK Bletchley Southern Bypass Campaign has now also been established, calling on the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities to fund a Bletchley Southern Bypass, to take through-traffic away from the A421 and Buckingham Road to help reduce traffic congestion, noise and air pollution.
