To provide a forum to
oversee the development and implementation of the council’s financial
and personnel policies in accordance with its annual budget.

To establish both revenue
and capital budgets for West Bletchley Council, including committee
allocations and make recommendations for the Parish Council during the
month of December each year.

To oversee the setting of
the Parish Precept.

To ensure public
consultation over budget proposals.

To monitor the budget on a
monthly basis

To develop policies and
procedures to ensure appropriate accounting and financial record keeping
procedures are in place.

To ensure that the annual
accounts of West Bletchley Council are prepared as required by law and
are audited.

To agree all financial
contracts related to the running of the Council Office and the general
administration of the Council.

To be responsible for
policy with respect to the employment functions of the Council.

To ensure that the required
personnel policies and procedures are in place.

The Finance & Personnel
Committee will be responsible for all matters not delegated to the other
committees of the Council
