Carnival 2010, what a day!! Carnival Video

The sun truely shone as the streets of West Bletchley came alive to beats, sounds, colour and smiles for this years Carnival!

Lots of different entries for this annual event, with "The Musicals" as the chosen theme.

Blues Brothers, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, High School The Musical, Annie are just to mention a few of the great designs and acts parading down the roads on foot or by vehicle.

Carnival arts workshops were held in 5 local primary schools, where professional carnival artists from Festive Road worked with youngsters to plan, design and build entries for the parade. Funding for the workshops was supported by a grant from Awards for All.

Away from the Parade, Rickley Park was busy with over 50 trade and craft stalls, there were plenty of choice and things to see for visitors over the course of the day.

This years chosen charity was Willen Hospice and the event raised over £7,500 for a very worthy cause!
