West Bletchley Carnival Parade 2023

Back to Home

What a magical day at the West Bletchley Carnival, with a Disney theme that brought joy to all!

Let's kick off the celebration by highlighting the incredible parade that took place.

Starting at Melrose Avenue, the parade made its way a mile to Rickley Park, where an array of exciting activities awaited. This year, the parade surpassed all expectations, with more community groups and charities participating than ever before. We were thrilled to have Rampage Mas Band, formerly known as Rampage Carnival Club, join us, bringing their vibrant performances and breath taking costumes to the event.

Leading the parade was the Garden City Samba, filling the air with their colourful presence and fantastic drumming music. And who could miss the enchanting Disney Princesses and the lovable Olaf from Pastiche Worldwide, adding that extra touch of magic to the procession.

One of the highlights of the parade was Lennie the Land Train, providing an exciting mode of transportation for esteemed guests such as the Mayor and Mayoress of MK, the Youth Mayor of MK, and the Chair and Clerk of West Bletchley Council. In the second carriage, we proudly showcased the winners of our 2022 Community Awards, honouring their remarkable contributions.

A special congratulations goes out to our parade winners: Rickley Park Primary, who claimed first place with their outstanding costumes and floats, followed by Abbeys Primary School in second place and Willen Hospice Milton Keynes in third place. Their creativity truly shone through, captivating the crowd with their imaginative displays.

A big round of applause to all participants for making the West Bletchley Carnival an unforgettable event filled with Disney magic! Stay tuned for more highlights from this incredible day. #WestBletchleyCarnival #WestBletchleyEvents #ProudtobeMK3 #DisneyMagic
